Club Projects
2009/2010 PROJECTS.
- The club distributed 200
charity boxes during the Holy Month of Ramdan to Khazma village, Gaza
Palestinian refugee camp and needy families in three other cities.
- Special Ramadan Dinner (Ifter)
was held for the orphan children of Schniller School.
- Special Ramadan Dinner (iftar)
was held for the orphan children of Al Naser Orphanage run by the Jordan
River Foundation.
- Distribution of 1250 school
bags to elementary students in several schools including Khazma village
public and UNARWA schools, and National Orthodox School – Ashrafiyeh.
- The club sponsored the
renovation and expansion project of Al Karma Center in Jabal Al Natheef
managed by the Jordan River Foundation where the club members provided
them with a new design of facility, tender documents and supervision of
the work.
- The club donated eight personal
computers and laptops for the King Hussein Cancer Center as part of the
back to school program run by The Center and distributed gifts and toys
for children accepting treatment in the center.

The Club celebrated the opening of the Khazma
Medical Laboratory as part of Khazma’s medical center.

1- Greigreh/ Wadi Araba water network project
2- Distribution of Charity Boxes during the Holy
Month of Ramadan to village of Khazma/Jordan Valley and to Souf Camp/ Jerash

program to the children of Mabaret Um AlHusain Orphanage
4- The distribution of ten lambs to about 70
needy families on Easter Sunday through an Orthodox Community Organization

2007 – 2008 Projects

Supply of complete and modern
dental clinic to Khazma medical center in the Jordan Valley with the
cooperation of RC Istanbul-Fenerbahche and the matching grant from The Rotary
Foundation.

Twinning between RC Amman Jerash
and RC Istanbul-Fenerbahche.

poor families in Amman and Khazma village.
2006-2007 Projects :
- Supply
of Analytical & Laboratory Medical Equipment to
theKhazma MedicalCenter – JordanValley. A Matching Grant
Total of USD 41000, in collaboration with RC Naperville, Illinois, USA.
- Distribution
of children clothing, toys, baby supplies and canned fooddonated by club
members to needy families at the village of Khazma during the month of
Ramadan.
- Special
Ramadan dinner and usage of play area for the children of Schnillar school
children, with the support of Rotaract Club of Amman Jerash.
- Participation
in the joint campaign of Rotary clubs inJordan in sending Medical,
material and financial aid to Lebanon during the Israeli
aggression, summer 2006

1 - A Hearing Aids Molds Laboratory at Prince Hassan Center at Al-Rabbeh Villag
/ Karak Province (South of Jordan).
2 - Medical Aid & equipment presented to Freinds of Patient/ Abu Rayya
Rehabilitation Center / Ramallah /The Palestenian Authority.
Year 1999/2000
- The estableshment of a "Computer Training Center" at the premises
of The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) within Al Baqaa Palestenian
Refugee camp to uplift the capabilities of participants and contribute towards
lowering of the unemployment rate within the women sector in the
community.
Year 1998/1999
- The estableshment of a "Quality Assurance" special section
supported with a computer and required softwares at the premises of The
SCHNELLER INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL to uplift the capabilities of participants and
contribute towards publicizing "Quality Assurance" perception in the
community.
Year 1997/1998
USD 24500.-- MATCHING GRANT
- A USD$ 24500.- MATCING GRANT presented to The National Multihandicapped
Welfare Society "The Home of Hope" in the form of specialized
equipment in the treatment of children with multi-handicapped disabilities.
This matching grant was raised in cooperation with Rotary International
District 5950.
Donation of sewing & embroidery Workshop .
- Establishment of a Workshop donated to THE DEAF CARE SOCIETY (Al Rajaa'
school for Deaf)
- The Workshop will be located in the Al Rajaa' school and run by it for the
purpose of producing types of sports wear, school students uniforms, graduation
robes, wool pullovers...
- the workshop will provide the school with a regular income.
